Apple iPhone 6 features

Apple ha officially announced the iPhone 6- The eighth generation of iPhone.

As well as the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are both out now and available both online and in store from apple direct and other major retailers.

              

I Phone 6 price

In the US,on a two year contract the i phone 6 starts at 199$ for the 16 GB model, Then 299$ for the 64 GB , and 399 $  up front for 128 GB of internal storage.

iPhone 6 Design :

Apple has overhauled the squared off design which has been with us since  the iPhone 4, With a iPhone 6 sporting a more rounded, similar body.

In fact it is just 6.9 mm thin, making it one of the slimmest smartphones on the market/

its slightly heavier than 5S at 129 g , while the body measures 138.1 mm x 67 mm

The power lock key has been moved to the top of the handset to the right hand side, making it easier to hit during one handed use,
On the left hand side you get  the separated volume keys below a mute ttoogle switch.
   

iPhone 6 Display

The iPhone has 4.7 inch LED back lit display with a 1334 x 750 resolution. its Apple new "Retina HD" offering. That means you get a pixel density of 322ppi- The same as  iPhone 5S.

It also pails in comparison to the iPhone 6 plus, With a HD 1920x1080

Apple has stuck with the 8MP rear camera on the iPhone 6, but its not the same as the one you'll find on the iPhone 5S.


A new widget angle iSight lens, true tone flash ,f/2.2 aperture , greater noise reduction, digital image stabilization and a 2 x faster auto focus provide even better images.


The rear camera can shoot 1080p video (sorry 4k fans), and the slo-mo video mode has been boosted to give you the option to record either 120 fps or 240 fps. Video also benefit from continuous auto focus, plus apple has added a new time lapse mode to mix.

The front facing camera has also been given some love. It's actually a Face time HD camera now , with a f/2.2 aperture and a new sensor which allows in up to 81 % more light. There's also HDR Face Time video support, ensuring you're perfectly lit.

 

iPhone 6  Battery

With a 50 % more efficient processor along with a bigger 1810 mAh battery we've unsurprisingly found that the battery life of iPhone 6 is more than adequate and an improvement on the juice pack in the iPhone 5S.


Apple claims that the iPhone 6 keep going for upto 250 hours on standby. 12 hours of talk time, 11 hours of internet use or 20 hours of audio playback, which is a modest upgrade over the iPhone 5S

Hands on with the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

                               
The Galaxy Note Edge is the biggest surprise out of Samsung unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event. We knew that Samsung was working on a device that had display with a curved edge , but we were not really expecting it today. Staying true to the Note series of devices, The galaxy Note Edge, keeps everything the same such as including an S pen and its software goodies. And the devices display is 5.6 inches, so there is very little screen real estate lost in comparison to the 5.7- inch Galaxy note 4. in fact, the two devices maintain the same exact footprint.

Spending some time with the galaxy note edge will show that its unique design can be very useful. Advantage of this space with the SDK that is available starting today.

In Picturess: Sony Experia Z3 + Z3 Compact versus Z2+Z1 Compact

The Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact are upon us. Sony rapid fir release cyycle for high end Android phones result in each generation of phones being the sum of many iterative  updates on the last.
That's true of the Z3 series_____ Both phones take their predecessors, The Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z1 Compact, and improve upon them in ways both subtle and substantial.

We'll have more to say on both new Sony Phones in the next weak, But now we've rounded up both phones and their forbears for a quick photo shoot. Check it out below.

Top to bottom : Z3 compact, Z1 Compact ,Z3,Z2. The Z3 Compact used plastic frame in place of the Z1 compacts metal, But the move from the cheap feeling plastic back to glass means the newer compact feels like the more premium device.

 

 

Sony uses 20.7 mega pixel Exmor RS sensor across all devices, though the Z3 series uses a slightly wider angle lens
